| "I Dare You To Try" Many times in life we have no idea if we are going or coming. Many of us wake up to a day that we are none the less sure of, how we are going to make it from one point to the next. Engulfed in despare and despiration to get closer to what we are trying to achieve. So often we fail to understand those things that are most important, in the life given to us. We are constantly fighting against the very things that can make the difference in our lives but often rather hold on to those things that bring us down and bring us so much pain. Do we ever consider the reason why we do the things that we do to cause ourselves so much pain; when clearly there is no need too ? Many of us have convinced ourselves that there is nothing in life for me. Therefore accepting whatever that's thrust upon us and making excuses for the things that could be or could have been. Many of us don't understand that the choices we make in life are the very things that defines our destiny and future. It's like fighting a losing battle, one can not fight a successful battle if your not prepared to do so. Moreover, even if you are prepared doesn't necessarily mean you are going to win. But one would never know to win or lose if we never try. We can always approach a situation by a detour. There is more than one way to accomplish a goal. Life is what we make it in most cases and although we have no control of the situations we're born into. We must be willing to open our minds to the universe and a world that's waiting for us to embrace all of it's splender. While we are sitting around crying and waiting for a miracle; if we would just clear our eyes for a second, we'll discover that the miracle was there all the time. We have the "GIFT OF LIFE". My friends, time waits for no one. If you haven't noticed we are getting older day by day; which is a clear indication that we are getting closer to our graves. Why continue to place blame on the things that are just holding you back. Break those shackles from your mind and leave the past behind that's telling you that you can never be nothing or nobody. I'm a living wittness that you can be anything you want to with GOD on your side, Faith and a whole lot of work and I must tell you, "I LOVE TO WORK". God's granted us an express card to success, when he gave us the GIFT of Life and the will to make choices. So my friends, what are you waiting for ? Are you going to get busy living or you going to get busy dying . Remember it doesn't matter where you are in your life, God will meet you there. Please be willing to understand that as vast as the universe, God's grace and mercy stretches as far and wide. With all of his majesty, he's willing to give you the life that you so rightfully deserve. Inspit of the hurt, the mean things that people have said about you, forget what your school friends use to say about you, when they would call you fat and ugly. Forget the fact that the girl you felt that you were madly in love with, before the whole entire class she called you an old ugly bucked tooth DOG and to leave her alone because she hates you. Only because you were trying to be the little gentleman Mommy raised me to be. Close your mind to those things that constantly bring you down and cause you so much pain. You deserve so much more than to allow the ghosts of your past to continue to destroy the goodness that you deserve to have. So what if your husband left you, so what if your wife left you or maybe even someone even closer went on to glory but there is no reason why we should continue to beat ourselves over those things we have no control of. You are still here in the land of the living and with so much, I'm quite sure you can offer the world. You are special my friends and I believe that. Find the strength to fight for yourself and grab a hold, of all that life throws at you. You can make a change and you can make a difference. As difficult as it may seem at this time in your life. I dare you to try. Remember: there are no limits in God. Remember whenever you can look up and see the sky, know that there are others who are thinking of you and are praying for you. Most importantly, I want you to know that I am one of those persons. May God continue to bless you with all the riches of his glory and of the peace, joy and love that you may inspire all those whom you meet.
